Why now
The independent channel is under real pressure: PBM reimbursement below cost on a majority of Part D claims, thousands of closures since 2019, no clear succession plan for most owners. At the same time, consumers are spending more than ever on proactive health: labs, hormones, supplements, weight management; almost none of it inside the pharmacy. HARP Wellness exists to put that second business inside the buildings that already have the trust, the licensure, and the foot traffic to run it well.
State-level reform is also moving in your favor: reimbursement floors, bans on spread pricing, and rules requiring PBMs to deal fairly with independents are spreading fast, especially across the Mountain West.
